What to do when kids are feeling bored?

This video helps kids to develop coping skills and emotional awareness around boredom. The practices include a fun dance, movement practice for boredom, a breathing exercise for kids, and a reflective mindfulness exercise for children to do when they are feeling stuck or bored. 

Join Deborah on an emotional journey and learn three special techniques (body magic, mind magic, and heart magic) to help children cope with boredom. 

This process will help children :

  • Normalize boredom—helping them understand it’s something that we all experience.
  • Accept and relate to the bored feelings they may be experiencing through an imaginative exercise.
  • Understand there are simple and effective techniques they can do to help themselves feel inspired and more creative.

These techniques help kids feel empowered to manage boredom in mindful and healthy ways, developing emotional awareness and intelligence from an early age.
